Another year, another “Call of Duty.” But we’re not headed to World War 2 again… or back to the modern day. Instead, Activision is taking us to unexplored middle ground: semi-modern, semi historical vistas of the Cold War and Vietnam – but with a completely spin fictional.

Modern Warfare 2 is already selling out, and selling a lot. This review is almost a moot point for those familiar with either the Call of Duty franchise or the previous Modern Warfare game: you probably already own Modern Warfare 2 if you are either of those two things.

WET was one of the refugees of the Activision Blizzard merger that found its way into Bethesda’s hands earlier this year. Developed by Artificial Mind and Movement; the game stars Rubi Malone, a gun for hire who gets caught up in a web of lies and gang violence.
